Don Creasy

Class of 2001

Don Creasy played high school football at Colbert County and in college with the Florence State Lions. He was the most valuable lineman at Florence State in 1965. Following college, Don became a high school football coach with successful programs as head coach at Central, Colbert County, Cofee and Mountain Brook.

 

Coach Creasy is recognized as one of the most respected high school coaches in Alabama. He received the Alabama High School Coach of the year in 1972 and 1985. Coach Creasy coached in the Alabama High School All-Star Game three times and in the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star game in 1989. He is also an inductee of the AHSAA Hall of Fame.
