The purpose of the Colbert County Sports Hall of Fame is to recognize outstanding athletic accomplishments in our county. Members are chosen for achievement or service that stands above the ordinary. Nominees considered for membership represent coaches, athletes, and individuals that have made an outstanding contribution to athletics in his or her community. The first class was honored in May of 2000 with 12 inductees. With the induction of the Class of 2022 this April, membership will grow to 244 worthy men and women that have contributed to the rich athletic history of Colbert County.
