Wes Todd

Wes graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 2002 where he was an outstanding member of the Trojans baseball team and one of the most talented pitchers to take the mound in the Shoals Area during his high school career. The statistics he recorded during his four years included a 35-9 won loss record, 394 strikeouts, 32 complete games with an ERA of 2.63. What he accomplished during his senior year was even more impressive as he went 13-1 on the mound pitching 2 no hitters with an ERA of .56 to go along with 11 complete games while striking out 162 batters in 91 innings. His performances during high school led to numerous awards and honors which included being named All-Area four times, All-State three times, Times Daily Player of the Year in 2002, Alabama 5A player of the Year in 2002, member of the Alabama Super 12 in 2002, a 2002 First Team Louisville Slugger Collegiate Baseball Magazine All-American. After high school Wes went on to play for Northwest Shoals Community College in 2003-2004 compiling a won loss record of 15-4, recording 119 strikeouts with an ERA of 3.15. Following the 2003-2004 season he was signed to a scholarship by the University of Georgia.
