Dominique Croom

Inductee

Dominique Croom graduated from Cherokee High School where he was a four-year letter winner in football, basketball, and track. He was a three-time ALL Area selection and was the 2A ALL-State team as a senior in football. In addition, Croom was selected as the 2A State Long Jump champion in track. As a senior, Dominque had 27 receptions for 706 yards, eight touchdowns on offense, 13 tackles on defense, as well as eight interceptions. Following his outstanding high school career for the Indians, Croom received a scholarship to the University of Central Arkansas where he made an immediate impact for the Bears starting in 11 games as a true freshman with 19 receptions and 2 touchdowns. Dominique continued to be a mainstay for the Bear's offense. In the 2010-11 season, he had 80 receptions and 9 touchdowns. During his senior season at UCA, Croom had 53 catches for 711 years and 8 touchdowns. He was selected to the Southland Conference ALL-Conference First Team and finished his college career with 146 receptions for a total of 1,821 yards. Dominique went on to play both for the Cleveland Browns an the Atlanta Falcons in the National Football League.
