Marcus Hill

Inductee

Marcus Hill was a 1990 graduate of Sheffield High School. He was a 3-sport athlete for the Bulldogs, starting three years in football, two years in both basketball and baseball. In basketball, Hill averaged 10 points and 7 rebounds per game and made the ALL-Area Tournament team as a sophomore and the ALL-County team as a junior and senior. In baseball, he had a .365 batting average with 9 total home-runs. As a gifted athlete in both basketball and baseball, it was on the gridiron that Hill rose to an elite level. He was a vital member of the Bulldogs' football squad leading an outstanding defense from his linebacker position with 195 solo tackles and 88 assists. On offense, he ran the football 641 years for over 3,000 years that included 56 touchdowns. Marcus was an ALL-State selection in his junior and senior seasons. After high school, he was signed to a football scholarship by they University of Louisville.
