Jasmine Horne

Inductee

A 2008 graduate of Sheffield High School, Jasmine Horne was outstanding on the hardwood for the Lady Bulldogs. She played varsity basketball from the 8th grad through her senior season, and she was named the Northwest Regional Tournament Most Valuable Player as well as the 3A State Tournament MVP. She was selected to play in the 2008 Alabama-Mississippi ALL-Star game. Upon completing high school, Jasmine signed a scholarship to play for Northwest Shoals Community College where she became a two-year starter averaging 14 points as well as 2.6 teals per game as a sophomore. She was names to the NJCAA ALL-Conference Team, the 2010 Alabama Junior College Player of the Year, and Honorable Mention NCDDA ALL-American. From 2009 to 2011, Jasmine played for Indian-Purdue University in Indianapolis where she averaged 7.5 points per game. Jasmine returned home to play for the University of North Alabama during the 2011-12 season where she capped off her career averaging 14.3 PPG, 2.9 steals, 4.3 assists, and shot 82% from the free throw line.
