Donna was a graduate of Deshler High School in 1985. She was and outstanding student participating in the DHS Chorus and Band along with being a valuable member of the Lady Tiger basketball squad. She was a 5'11" post player starting three years on the varsity for Coach Robert Young. She was team captain in both 1984 and 1985. Donna led the team to the Colbert County Championships in 1983, 1984 and 1985 as well as the Area and State Titles in 1985. She was selected All-County for three years, All Area for three years and to the All-State team in 1985. After a great high school career she was signed to a basketball scholarship to the University of North Alabama.
