A 1980 graduate of Colbert County High School, Kimmy Dale was a four year letterman in both Football and baseball. As the starting quarterback he led the Indians football teams to a record of  24-3-1 with two Region Championships, two State final appearances and one State Championship. In baseball he was the team MVP and was a member of the All-Area Team in 1980. After High school he signed a baseball scholarship to play for Martin Methodist College where he was All-State in 1982. Following his college baseball career he began officiating both high school and college basketball for 23 years and was chosen to officiate numerous high school state tournaments as well as Gulf South Conference Tournaments. Kimmy was also an avid golfer and softball competitor winning club championships in golf and playing shortstop on two world tournament softball teams.
