Brenda is the volleyball, basketball and softball coach at Muscle Shoals High School. Her Trojan volleyball teams won four consecutive stae championships 1998-2001. After the 2000 volleyball season she was named State, Regional and National Volleyball Coach of the Year by the National Federation Association and the Alabama High School Directors and Coaches Association. She was recently inducted into the University of North Alabama Athletic Hall of Fame where she was a two-year letterman in women's basketball in 1984 and 1985. She was All-Gulf South

Conference both years and a member of the NCAA Division II South conference All-Tournament Team.
