Bud Mills

Class of 2000

Bud Mills was a coach, teacher and administrator in Alabama for 41 years. He is a graduate of Washington County High School and Livingston University. Following college, he played baseball for the Cleveland Indians. As a coach, he lead state playoff teams in three different sports: football, basketball and baseball. His overall record in football was 152-80-3. In 1993, Coach Mills was inducted into the Alabama High School Sports Hall of Fame. His greatest success as a coach was with Cherokee High School in Cherokee, Alabama where he coached for 20 years.
