Inductee

Jon graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 1991, received his BS degree from the University of North Alabama and his Masters from Jacksonville State. He is now a varsity football coach. In high school, Jon was a four sport athlete. He was 1st team All-Area, 1st team All-State, and won the A.C. Curry Most Outstanding Area Lineman in football his senior year. After graduating from Muscle Shoals, he receive a full football scholarship to UNA where he started at guard for four years. During that time, UNA won the Gulf South Conference championship all four years and the Division II, National Championship in 1993, 1994 and 1995. He was 1st team GSC all four years, 1st Team Division II, GSC Quarter Century Team, 1st Team Associated Press Little All-American in 1994 and 1995, 1st Team GSC Team of the Decade, selected on the 50th Anniversary UNA football team and inducted in the University of North Alabama Hall of Fame in 2006.
