Keyana Malone

Inductee

Keyana Malone graduated from Muscle Shoals High School in 2003 where she played volleyball, basketball and softball. During her volleyball career she was part of three State Championship seasons from 1999-2002 and was the 5A North Regional MVP in 2001 along with being selected First Team All-State that same year. She contributed greatly to the success of the Lady Trojans volleyball program during high school under Coach Brenda Mayes as she lay the foundation for coaching volleyball teams in her future. Keyana earned her college degrees from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and the Florida Institute of Technology and was employed at Red Stone Arsenal. She began coaching volleyball as an assistant at Hazel Green High School in 2008, then Bob Jones in 2010 and on to Athens High School in 2019. She has coached club volleyball for ten years and has been the co-director along with her sister Tynesha of the United Athens Volleyball Club since 2020. Their goal was to grow the interest of volleyball while teaching the importance of hard work, discipline and Sportsmanship.
